I visited the historic Palace Theatre Manchester, NH back in April of 1998. It’s a beautiful building located on Hanover Street, in the heart of historic downtown Manchester, NH. Some of the claims that employee’s and visitors have made about the Palace Theatre include people hearing moaning seemingly out of nowhere, an employee turning the water off only to hear it go back on after leaving the room, and even an employee who walked into a room and was trapped there for three hours after the door shut by itself and wouldn’t budge.
I didn’t personally experience any of these events however, there are three ghosts who haunt this location. The first ghost I would like to talk about is a wannabe stage actor named Paul. Paul auditioned many times for various productions that were at the Palace in his youth however he never got a part. His dream crushed Paul committed suicide in his home by hanging himself in his home but his love for the stage has drawn him to the Palace where he has been putting on his one-man show after hours ever since.
Cliff is a ghost who is responsible for the practical jokes that occur at a few spots in Manchester including The Palace Theatre. The final ghost wouldn’t talk to me but she is the ghost of a preteen girl. I don’t know much about her but she is the angry one of the three who enjoys breaking things.
This location is a wonderful spot to help you to get familiarized with the paranormal because I feel that as far as haunted locations go these ghosts are extremely mellow and don’t really pose a threat to your physical well-being. So suit up and head to The Palace Theatre 80 Hanover Street Manchester, NH 03101 USA, just be sure to keep an open mind and let us know about your experiences.
